Anne Feddema – Kleurkuieraar
For the first time in a great while, new work by Anne Feddema (1961) is displayed in a museum. In Villa Mondriaan, Feddema shows that he finds abstraction not in shapes, but in the infinite palette of colors.
Anne Feddema strictly follows his own path. Everything from food packaging to his earlier paintings is a painting canvas to him. Feddema has an almost obsessive urge to paint and works on his art every day. He puts his own representation of reality first. For him, looking carefully at the world is the first step, precisely capturing the world is less important.
