Unveiling a new still life on display
with Willem de Winter
A new work by the world-famous painter will be presented at Villa Mondrian on March 3. The work was discovered in 2020 at Between Art and Kitsch. Expert Willem de Winter examined the signature, use of color and technique. Together with Wietse Coppes, the two experts discovered that the painting was made by the Piet Mondrian!
It is extra special when the composition in the painting is linked to a photograph of Piet Mondrian in his studio. The experts are certain: this is indeed a work of art by the world-famous Piet Mondrian.
